| So it’s been awhile since we updated this site. A lot memories and adventures have taken place in the meanwhile. Some good, some not so good. But all amazing. It is fantastic to be back in the water though. The ocean does bring peace, even in the roughest storms.
The Bahamas Dive Club is a beautiful mixture of divers… young, old, new, experienced … with a single passion for scuba diving. Every now and then they all get together for a day long dive trip, far away from the regular spots. Today it was the East and North of the island that got explored. It was also our first circumnavigation of New Providence. A special shout out to our Capt. Dario for navigating the extremely shallow southern route. The original plan was to do 3 different dive locations and be back by 5pm. Well, things don’t always go to plan. When diving The Lost Blue Hole, it is so easy to get enchanted by the site and this resulted in two dives at the same location. What can I say …. I would dive this site everyday if I could. Are there huge corals and lots of fish, no. There are some very rugged features, a small cavern and some very special encounters that you just don’t normally see. Hope you like the pics…. The next dive spot was the wreck of the Mahoney. This was my first time here and the first thing that got my attention was the amount of fish in and around the wreck. This ship certainly had an interesting life… you can read a little bit about it here. It is not a very deep wreck and is deffo worth your time to go see. Again hope you like the pics. |
