| Sea Trader is one of my favourite dive sites. Today’s dive was no exception. The surface was bumpy and there was an off the wall current. I managed to get a video from the start of the descent, dive through of the wreck and quick tour from the bow to the stern. Will post it on YouTube and update this page as soon as it is ready.
The thoughts on this dive were positive. I was so impressed with this dive group. We had an issue with the boat anchor slipping at the end of the dive. Not a big deal on most days – but this is a deep wreck dive and most of the time divers use the anchor line for their safety stop. What to do when there is no line? Even though this group were advanced divers and higher, they were all able to do their safety stop, keep in a group, maintain their position relative to the wreck (even in the current) and safely get aboard the boat after. Not your average dive – but the Stuart Cove guides had it all under control. Well done. I enjoyed the dive. |
